THE ATHEIST : MIKE KELLER
Mike Keller is employed in the Dallas suburbs as a graphic designer, bartender and freelance artist. Organizations that he’s been affiliated with include the DFW Herpetological Society, North Texas Skeptics, The Asian Film Festival of Dallas, The Fellowship of Freethought, The Art Conspiracy, North Texas Professional Writer’s Association and the Ft. Worth/Lone Star Film Festival. He has been co-editor and Creative Director for the Monster Attack Team magazine, website and fan club, and has appeared at A-Kon, G-Fest and the San Diego Comic Con in promotion of MAT. He has been a featured guest on the Monster Talk podcast and contributor to Dogma Debate. In addition to Monster Attack Team, his articles have appeared in G-Fan Magazine, Famous Monsters Of Filmland, Kaiju Review and Oriental Cinema. He has helped organize stateside appearances for Japanese celebrity guests and has appeared on the television show ‘An Eye For An Eye’. His short film ‘The Big Tip’ was nominated for two awards at the Ft. Worth Film Festival. He has organized musical events in the Dallas area with as many as 15 bands, some from as far away as Denmark. His artwork has appeared in several Dallas-area galleries. He has more film, video and art projects lined up for the future…

 

THE CHRISTIAN: BRENT PHILLIPS

Not to be confused with South African pastor Brent Phillips… Manchester, England native Brent Phillips has lived and worked in the United States for over a decade. He is employed as a lead software developer in the Plano, TX area where he lives with his wife and son. A former atheist, Brent has been a Passion Groups Leader at Life Spring Church where he helped lead and develop small activity groups. He’s lead a weekly faith discussion small group and founded the Meet-up group Got Doubt? (where he met Mike) as well as the Got Doubt Youtube channel. He has volunteered as both sound engineer and managed the projection display during worship and service for his church, and also tought once a month to new congregants on how to be more involved with the Church and develop their spiritual life. He has been on the Dogma Debate podcast three times (once when he debated David Fitzgerald over the historicity of Jesus). He still supports his home team of Manchester United as well as FC Dallas.
